Mark Wainwright
Your Writing & Editing Coach
Novel
Abeka (one of the largest publishers of Christian school resources in the world) published Mark's novel, Trapped in a Hot Air Balloon, in June 2021. What's the book about? Glad you asked . . .
"When a hot air balloon ride goes terribly wrong, siblings Jenny and Cole find themselves soaring thousands of feet into the cold Colorado sky.
In the basket of the enormous balloon, they must overcome their differences and safely land the runaway hot air balloon. This unforgettable flight will captivate your imagination and inspire your heart.
Join Jenny and Cole on their trip of a lifetime as they learn to overcome fear, exercise faith, and extend forgiveness."
Magazines, Newspapers, Textbooks, Journals
Mark's writing credits include publication in magazines, newspapers, and literary journals. He also worked as an editor and contributor for three-and-a-half years with Abeka, a Christian textbook publisher.

Digital (500+)
Because readers increasingly use digital devices to access content, Mark helped lead the effort in converting print resources to electronic formats.
This involved working with with a programmer who developed an interactive App whereby users accessed the same quality content found in print resources, but with enhanced features.
Mark also used InDesign to convert print files into eBook formats that were then uploaded to online retail outlets including Apple and Amazon. These eBooks are still purchased by readers, and contributed to increased revenue for authors and the publisher.
Workbooks
The larger format of a workbook enables users to write directly in the provided space. This format is often used by small group Bible studies and Bible schools. Subject matter covers a range of topics, but all remain practical in nature.
